Responsibility:

·         General definition of responsibilities:

Ø  The post of Technical Expert in Cutting Tools is designed to boost our market importance as a skilled distribution company over the long term. The improvement in our market position must relate to more sales and an increased exploitation of potential in the area of Cutting Tools that require explanation.

Ø  The holder of this position will perform the following tasks in an autonomous and self-reliant manner, in compliance with statutory requirements and our own company guidelines, in the interests of an effective and high-performance service department:

·         Profound knowledge to support daily Cutting Tools business:   

Ø  Familiarity and understanding of high-quality cutting tools including:

Ø  Drills, Taps, Milling cutters, Reamers, Inserts

Ø  HPC, MTC, TPC, Modular Machining Processing

Ø  Clamping Technology

Ø  Familiarity and understanding of CNC Machine and Machining Processing

·         Identify customers' needs and offer solutions, to develop cutting tool sales

Ø  Technically very competent and rich commercial experienced customer consulting,

Ø  Able to interaction and communication with the key technical (management) person of customer, especially foreign staff

Ø  Able to answer/offer technical answer in the metal cutting industry, and problem shooting in terms of technical aspect

Ø  Improve level of current AT team

Ø  Able to chair and lead Cutting Tool Seminar internally and externally

Ø  Able insight the new application in the market,

Ø  Observe the competitors, as well as their products and provided the necessary advice.

Ø  Monthly report to GM with analysis based on behaviors and marketing info.

Ø  Keep optimizing in internal process

Ø  Involved in company strategy of Cutting Tools

Ø  Strong and constructive interaction with PM team

Skills & experience

Professional Requirements:

·         Sound technical education in the metal cutting sector.

·         20+ working years in Cutting Tool industry, production facility with cross department working experience especially in QC experience is prefer.

·         Technical experience at the CNC machine will be a plus.

·         Problem solving attitude

·         Enjoys dealing with customers.

·         Language skills: fluent German and English is required

·         Business travel in China with intercultural awareness

·         Commercial sense

·         Customer focus

·         Familiar with PC and MS Office
