Chamber President Presents Position Paper to Deputy Party Secretary of Beijing

On 22nd November, Chamber President Mats Harborn attended the annual Beijing City Roundtable with Foreign Chambers of Commerce and Enterprises.
President Harborn delivered a speech and presented a copy of the Position Paper 2018/2019 to the Deputy Party Secretary of Beijing, Lin Keqing. President Harborn’s speech touched upon issues related to Beijing’s image, company relocation, market access for the service industry, staffing of intellectual property rights courts, the Internet and traffic. President Harborn recognised that Beijing government officials have paid close attention to the Chamber’s suggestions and have made some good progress in the last year. However, the Chamber expects to see more improvements in the future.
