Meeting with Deputy Director General of Nanjing Bureau of Commerce

On 22nd May, Mr Bernhard Weber, chair of the European Chamber Nanjing Board, met with Mr Liu Hongwen, deputy director general (DDG) of the Nanjing Investment Promotion Bureau and director of the Nanjing Investment Promotion Center.

Mr Weber gave a brief introduction to the Chamber and its recent work to DDG Liu, and requested the deputy director general’s support for the upcoming Nanjing innovation conference. DDG Liu agreed, and expressed his appreciation for the contribution the European Chamber has made to the local business environment. Plans for future cooperation were also discussed in the meeting.

Mr Weber also presented the European Business in China Business Confidence Survey 2019 to DDG Liu.
