Participation in the ECECP event on Promoting Innovation in Energy Technologies

On Thursday 28th January, national chair of the Energy Working Group, Guido Giacconi, along with Energy Working Group members, participated in an event organised by ECECP, "Promoting Innovation in Energy Technologies - Opportunities for Cooperation Between EU and China: Challenges in introducing innovative energy technologies in EU and China", which took place at Asia Hotel, Beijing. 

During this workshop, the following topics have been discussed: the opportunities and challenges in introducing innovative energy solutions in EU and China, the ways to enhance cooperation between innovative solution providers in the EU and China, and the ways to accelerate the commercialisation of these innovative energy solutions. Guido Giacconi moderated the Panel Discussion 1 on the "Experience in bringing innovative energy solutions to China and EU". Problems such as market access, investment environments and intellectual property have been covered.
