CDMD Advisory Committee

The Chamber is pleased to announce the appointment of Volker Müller on 20^th October, who will work exclusively with the Advisory Committee for Consumable Disposable Medical Devices (CDMDs) to ensure their goals are achieved. The CDMD Advisory Committee was formed earlier this year to promote the specific interests of companies in this industry.

This dedicated desk actively promotes the CDMD industry, programmes and activities throughout China, and acts as a point of reference for CDMD Advisory Committee constituents. The establishment of the committee and the associated desk is a positive example how the Chamber can represent interests of our member companies even more efficiently.

Cheese Industry Desk Launch

On 1^st September, the Cheese Industry Desk (CID) was officially established, and becomes the third food industry initiative of the European Chamber. The primary goal of this project is to share European expertise and knowledge of the cheese industry with Chinese counterparts. The CID provides professional advice to companies active in this industry and seeks to establish and expand relations with other key stakeholders. This initiative demonstrates the Chamber’s commitment to proactively representing the interests of its members in this industry, while contributing to its sustainable development.
