Season’s Greetings from European Chamber Nanjing Chapter

Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you for your support for the EUCCC’s Nanjing Chapter in 2018. 

First of all, we would like to express our special gratitude to our new members and partners of this year:

VORTICE, OSCHATZ, Singleron, ZELLER+GMELIN, GUZE CLINIC, Global Doctor, MJ Health Care, KERRY, BZ, BRITISH COUNCIL, ARGO HYTOS, Nanjing Center of College of Illinois, CIPIC, PAS, ARC Glassware, DB Schenker, Bank of Nanjing and PPVE.

In 2018, we have focused our efforts on the interpretations of policies and regulations, and have organized a wide range of lobby meetings to encourage ongoing and open communication between members and both EU and local Government authorities for the common concerns of members including:  implementation of environmental laws and regulations, local encouragement policy which responses to the Guofa No. 5 and No. 39, e-commerce supervision and consumer protection, business ecosystem, etc.  

Furthermore, we held 50 events, to provide business intelligence by preparing and sharing timely business topics. The most notable of these events were:

-          2018 Jiangsu Government Dialogue

-          Europe Day in Jiangsu: Prospects for EU-China Economy

-          1st Innovation Fair

-          40 Years of Journey--- past, present and future & Summer BBQ

-          5th Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 

As for 2019, we invite you to pay special attention to the following planned events:  

-          Nanjing Government Dialogue (March)

-          Industry Mobility and Concentration in Jiangsu and Board Election 2019-2020 (April)

-          Europe Day Celebration (May)

-          2nd Innovation Fair (May)

-          2nd Nanjing Position Paper 2019/2020 Launch (September)

-          4th Green & Clean Forum and 6th CSR Awards (November) 

Naturally, there will be a number of social and sports events, Manufacturing General Manager Roundtables, Mini- MBA training series in the coming 2019.
