On January 27^th, 2024, at Sky Terrace ,Level 5 in Conrad Shenyang , a unique German Eisstockschieben (Ice Curling) Tournament concluded amid laughter and joy! This entertaining sports event, jointly organized by Conrad Hotel Shenyang, European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, AmCham China Northeast Chapter, and German Chamber of Commerce in China·North, not only allowed participants to experience the charm of winter sports but also served as a grand occasion for cultural exchange between China and foreign countries.

At the event venue, a warm and vibrant atmosphere filled the entire Sky Terrace as Chinese and foreign friends interacted with the ice trays. Some effortlessly glided the trays across the surface, while others anxiously awaited the landing point, mutually learning from each other, eager to participate, and cheering one another on. Through unity and collaboration, they embodied the spirit of sports.

While Chinese and foreign friends showcased their skills on the ice, they also deepened their understanding and brought each other closer through mutual exchanges. 

During the event, Mr. Kebin Liu, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Shenyang Municipal Culture, Tourism, and Radio and Television Bureau, and Mr. Guoqi Shi, Deputy Secretary of the Shenyang Shenhe District Committee, District Governor, and Party Secretary, arrived at the event venue. They were accompanied by Mr. Erich Kaiserseder, Chairman of European Chamber Shenyang Chapter and General Manager of Shenyang Conrad Hotel. They experienced the atmosphere on-site and participated in Ice Curling sports. Kebin and Guoqi highly praised this sports event and expressed their expectations for future cooperation with Shenyang Chapter and Conrad Hotel. They hope to jointly promote cultural exchange between China and foreign countries and the development of local cultural and tourism features in Shenyang.
