" Factory Tour Series-Airbus" Event Achieved Success

On March 15th, the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, in conjunction with Airbus, held an A220 Program Tour event at AVIC SAC Commercial Aircraft Company Limited, SACC (hereinafter referred to as "SACC"). Mr. Emmanuel LORIOT, Consulate General of the Republic of France in Shenyang, Mr. Erich KAISERSEDER, Chair of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Shenyang Chapter (hereinafter referred to as the " European Chamber Shenyang Chapter "), Board Members of European Chamber Shenyang Chapter Ms. Diane CHEN and Mr. Sebastian BITTNER, Office Manager Mr. Leo LIU, together with Mr. DENG Yudong, President of SACC, Mr. JIAO Yukun, Vice General Manager of SACC, and Mr. Wasim RAJA, Head of the Airbus team in Shenyang, and the main leaders of various subsidiaries all attended the event.

After the representatives from the various attending parties were introduced, the President of SACC Mr. DENG and Vice General Manager Mr. JIAO respectively shared brief overviews of the various civilian aircraft projects carried out and invited everyone to watch a corporate promotional video of the company. Following this, Mr RAJA presented the development of Airbus in China and specifically focused on introducing the highlights, business layout, and future prospects of the program A220.

Subsequently, Mr. Leo LIU introduced the ABCs and led the participants to review some of the achievements of the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter in 2023. He shared some cases about the Shenyang Chapter representing member companies in actively communicating their concerns to relevant departments, as well as the diverse and content-rich events organized by the Shenyang Chapter over the past year. After this, representatives of some member companies and privileged partners briefly introduced their respective companies' main businesses. Finally, all participants toured the program A220 factory under the guidance of SACC staff. The highly automated workshop area is a feast for the eyes, with small groups of technicians moving between various stations, occasionally adjusting and recording equipment. The assembly process of the A220 cabin is clearly visible and left a strong impression on all visitors. The event came to a successful conclusion amidst the fading roar of machinery.
