European Chamber of commerce is very pleased to invite you to attend our co-organized “Low-carbon Integrated Waste Management Symposium” with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Chinese Association of Urban Environmental Sanitation (CAUES ) on September 6-8 in Bengbu, Anhui Province, exchanging on your insights into municipal solid waste management (MSWM) in China regarding agricultural waste, plastic waste, methods for assessing and ways to finance MSWM and much more! · China Integrated Waste Management NAMA Supported Project- attracts more private investments into the field of integrated waste management and its resource utilization, boosting sustainable development and low-carbon economy in China
· Circular Economy Solutions to Marine Litter- supports a transition towards sustainable consumption and production of plastic in East and Southeast Asia to contribute to a significant reduction of marine litter. It thereby contributes to strengthening EU cooperation with countries in the region in the areas of circular economy, plastic waste and marine litter reduction.
· Sino-German Strategic Alliance for Advanced Biomethane Technology- will have a positive impact on the sectoral transformational change to a BAT model, which will improve the clean energy provision in rural areas of China. Policy and standard recommendation, capacity building activities and networking for the stakeholders in German and Chinese biogas sector provided by the project benefit further knowledge sharing and cooperation development.
