As one of the indicators for green economy and sustainable development, carbon neutrality has been a constant pursuit for China in recent years. With this in mind, the rise of new energy vehicles (NEV) has depicted a promising future for achieving carbon neutrality and thus a sustainably developing society. Sales of electric, plug-in hybrid and hydrogen-powered vehicles in China, the world’s biggest auto market, are forecast to rise to 20% of overall new car sales by 2025 from just 5% at the end of 2020, according to the State Council of China. NEV-related industries such as charging stations have also been developing fast in recent years.

As opportunities, news, and policies are quickly evolving around sustainable development and its outlook, this event aims to shed light on the current state of NEV and its related industries.
Experts will share their view on current policies and perspectives on what is to come for this industry.
