Dr. Huang ha s a solid theoretical foundation and rich practical experience in green building design, construction, operating and maintenance for more than 15 years and as a LEED AP for 11 years . Dr. Huang presided over more than 200 projects for energy efficiency consulting and green building certification national wide , including LEED, BREEAM, DGNB WELL and Chinese 3 Star Green Label certification.

Since 2005, Dr. Huang Junpeng started a series of research on the status quo and trends of green building development in China. It has been 1 5 years since. By the survey, he edited the “China Green Building Development Status and Trend Research Report which was widely acclaimed in the building industry, and edited the “China Green Real Estate Development Annual Report” from 2011 to 2020.

Dr. Huang has edited a series of professional books, such as Solar Architectural Design Atlas, Solar Building Integration Engineering Installation Guide, Green Building Assessment, LEED GA LEED AP Test Preparation Guide and Low Carbon Real Estate Investment Development Guide and participated in the preparation of several technical standards on solar collectors, solar building integration, solar water heating system. He has published 40 papers in academic journals including international journals with high SCI impact factor , such as Energy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, etc. Dr. Huang has conducted many research projects supported by U.S. Energy Foundation and International Copper Association, including the Study o n the Adaptability of Building Roof Resource Utilization Technology, the Survey on the Application of Solar Building Integration, the Research on the Prospect of Application of Solar Thermal Technology in Industrial Process, Solar Collector Performance Test Research, the Research on the Application Effect of Solar Collectors, the Feasibility Study on the Solar District Heating in China, and the Adaptability Research on the Household Heating Technologies.

Karen Xu is the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at White Peak, a China-focused real estate fund manager and property developer invested by Nordic institutional investors. Karen is responsible for White Peak’s investor relations, corporate communications and sustainability initiatives.

Prior to joining White Peak, Karen held several management positions at property consultancy firms in Beijing and Shanghai, providing advisory services on the real estate market, including transactional due diligence, portfolio valuation and other related services.

Karen holds a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Cornell University. She is also a graduate of Peking University in Beijing, China.
