Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation (referred to as “Sichuan BEC” for short) was established in November 2018 and was put under the direct administration of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government. It is the consolidation of the former Sichuan Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau and the former Sichuan Expo Affairs Bureau and has taken over responsibilities of carrying out economic and trade cooperation with Hongkong, Macao, and Taiwan from Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and of promoting and managing foreign investment from Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce. Sichuan BEC exercises such duties as promoting opening-up, attracting business and capitals, stimulating investment, boosting the exhibition and convention industry, and encouraging regional economic cooperation.

 

Sichuan BEC serves as the first point of contact for enterprises coming to Sichuan for visits, dialogues, and investment. Its specific scope of functionality is as follows: providing practical information on investment environment and supporting policies and offering high-quality services; reaching out to enterprises from home and abroad and offering them services during their connections with cities and prefectures of Sichuan, and helping them contact and introducing to them local cooperative partners for successful cooperation; following up major investment projects with continuous services. Twenty-one cities and prefectures in Sichuan have set up their own economic cooperation or investment promotion bureaus, all under the guidance of Sichuan BEC. With administrative units for investment promotion established in all districts, towns and industrial parks, an extensive network has been formed to best serve enterprises investing in Sichuan.

 

 

四川省经济合作局成立于2018年11月，是由原四川投资促进局、原四川博览事务局整合相关职能职责，并划入省发展改革委的与港澳台地区经贸合作职责、省商务厅的外商投资促进与管理职责组建而成，是四川省人民政府直属机构。行使促进对外开放、招商引资、投资促进、会展发展和区域经济合作等职责。

 

四川省经济合作局是外来企业来川考察、洽谈、投资的“第1站”。具体负责：提供投资环境、产业扶持政策等相关信息及优质服务；联系服务国内外企业来川考察，与市州洽淡对接；帮助联系介绍本地合作伙伴，促进企业之间项目合作；跟踪服务重大投资项目。四川省21个市州均设有经济合作局（投资促进局），四川省经济合作局对市州经合局进行业务指导，各区县、园区均设有投资促进相关机构，全省上下形成服务外来企业来川投资的全方位服务立体网络。
