Despite a shaky first quarter of 2020 for the investment sphere globally, Asia’s corporate venture capital (CVC) investment increased in Q3 of 2020 and continues to remain critical in the region’s capital ecosystem, according KPMG’s latest investment report. Corporations are growing hungry for innovation, especially so in the financial services, education, healthcare and artificial intelligence sectors, among others.
Will challenges and opportunities for corporate venture capital investment change in 2021? How can companies in China efficiently strategise their next steps towards innovation through start-up funding?
The 2021 edition of the European Chamber’s Corporate Venture Capital Conference offers a fresh look into CVC in the years to come. Experts and corporate leaders will touch upon the inevitable COVID-19 impact on CVC and will dive deeper into deals, obstacles and opportunities in their respective sectors.
