The Party Committee of Jiangsu Province published Jiangsu Action Plans of China Manufacturing 2025 in June 2015, aiming to establish Jiangsu as the leading province in the advanced manufacturing sector, increase Jiangsu-based enterprises competitiveness both at home and abroad. In order to keep member companies updated on the latest policy development on intelligent manufacturing investment, intelligent workshop evaluation policy, and incentive policies for SMEs, the European Chamber Nanjing Chapter held an exclusive dialogue with Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission on Tuesday, 23^rd May 2017 in Intercontinental Hotel Nanjing. 

The exclusive dialogue with JSCEIT on intelligent manufacturing included Jiangsu’s intelligent manufacturing development review, incentive policy to intelligent manufacturing, SME development and encouragement policy, and outlook for global development of intelligent manufacturing industry. Mr. Deng Yong, Director of Industry & Economic Cooperation Division of JSCEIT, gave the opening remark. Mr. Gao Bin, Deputy Director of Comprehensive Planning Division of JSCEIT, showed the attendees Jiangsu’s intelligent manufacturing development review and interpreted Jiangsu’s incentive policy to intelligent manufacturing. Mr. Han Lichun, Director of SME Coordination Division of JSCEIT interpreted Jiangsu’s SME development and encouragement policy. Latest Development of International and Domestic Intelligent Manufacturing Industry was given by Mr. Zhan Jiangtao, Vice President SLC General Manager of Jiangsu Province of Siemens, while Mr. Zhang Rui, Senior Director of Central Technology of BSH RGC talked BSH Strategies toward Smart Manufacturing and Best Practice. 

After the dialogue, 2017-2018 Sourcing and Manufacturing Forum Chair election was held.
