Secretary General honoured in the Queen's New Year Honours List

The Secretary General of the European Chamber, Michael O'Sullivan, received recognition in Queen Elizabeth II's 2008 New Year Honour's List. For his previous work as Director of the British Council in China, Michael was made a Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George (CMG). This title is given to citizens of the United Kingdon and other countries, in recognition for distiguished service to British interests abroad. Michael, who joined the European Chamber in August 2007, is a citizen of the UK and Ireland. He will travel to London in the New Year to receive the award from the Queen.
