The Maritime Manufacturing & Industrial Services Working Group represents European, world-leading companies that design, manufacture, maintain and repair ships, as well as maritime equipment manufacturers, classification societies, service providers and cruise operators. In a world that is as interconnected as it has ever been, the shipbuilding sector is a strategic driver for the development of a competitive and sustainable sea-board transportation system. In this regard, shipyards and manufacturers of ship components play an essential role in satisfying the increasing global demand for cleaner and safer transportation systems. European companies in the sector have a long track record of contributing to the environmental sustainability and increased energy efficiency of ships.
