State Council Tariff Commission released the Export Tariff Plan 2009 on 13th November, 2008. The revised export tax rates will become effective on 1st December 2008.

Attached please find two documents including HS Codes of metals (ferrous and non-ferrous) products.

1). Tariff Adjustment, in which two NFM products of one HS Code 7604 2910 are affected by adjusting tariff scope and decreased export tax rates.

2) Tariff Implementation from 01/12/08 to 31/12/09. Generally, fabricated products or semis are given lower export tax rates, but Charpters 80 and 81(scraps) will be imposed tax on.
