2012年12月23日，南京康瑞水陆联运有限公司所属“康瑞68”轮载运4725吨硫精矿，由江苏南通驶往山东龙口途中，在长江口南槽灯船以西1海里处倾侧沉没，因救助及时未造成人员伤亡。据初步调查，船舶载运硫精矿含水率较高，存在港航作业单位未向相关管理部门进行报备、货物未经理货部门采样送检、管理部门审核把关不到位等问题。此次事故再次暴露出各有关单位未落实好部《水路运输易流态化固体散装货物安全管理规定》(交水发〔2011〕638号，以下简称638号文)，安全管理工作中仍存在不到位、不得力的问题。
