Vice Chairman of European Chamber Shanghai Board Meeting with Shanghai Customs DDG

Vice-chair of European Chamber Shanghai Mr. Mick Adams, together with chairs and representatives of Logistics, Maritime Transport and Agriculture, Food & Beverage working groups, paid a visit to Shanghai Customs. The group was received by Mr. Jugang Zheng with division chiefs. Mr. Adams introduced the European Chamber and the working groups, followed by a Q&A session in which topics like the current categorized supervision based on status of merchandise, integration of customs special supervision zones, integration of customs territories in provinces along Yangtze River and supervision on personal parcels in the cross-border E-commerce model were discussed. After the Q&A session, both sides thought once or twice of such dialogue should be organized annually to insure mutual communication and exchange of information. Mr. Adams presented European Chamber's annually published Position Paper to Mr. Zheng.
