Exclusive Dialogue with 2016 B20 China Sherpa

Vice President Sara Marchetta welcomed Mr. Yu Ping, B20 China Sherpa and former Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and had a meeting with him before the event. Sara highlighted the close relations between the Chamber and CCPIT, recalled past cooperation with the CCPIT on different occasions. She also stressed the importance and contribution made by the European businesses in China. 

Mr. Yu responded that the CCPIT has always attached much importance to working with the Chamber. He briefed on the latest work done by the host committee of B20 China. At the Exclusive Dialogue, he introduce the role of G20/B20, the vision and operation of B20 China presidency, priority areas of discussions, the guiding principles and organization structure of B20 China presidency, prioritized issues for five taskforces and the advocacy process, etc. In the Q&A session, together with Mr. Sun Xiao, Liaison Officer of the Infrastructure Taskforce, Mr. Yu answered questions from the floor and responded to inquiries regarding this year's B20/G20.
