Meeting with Czech Republic Senate Delegation on Foreign Food Trading in China

On April 14, Mr. Zdeněk ŠKROMACH, Deputy Chairman of the Senate and Chairman of the Committee on National Economy, Agriculture and Transport of Czech Republic along with his colleagues and Mr. Bedřich KOPECKÝ, Ambassador of Czech Republic to China, visited the European Chamber Beijing Office. Ms. Maggie Xie, General Manager of the Chamber’s Beijing Chapter, introduced the delegates the Chamber’s history, lobby efforts and achievements of the past years. The Czech delegates also joined the AFB working group meeting and had a discussion with members on foreign food trading in China including market access barriers, the growing demand of dairy and meat sectors, and export of wine.
