Meeting with the NDRC

Representatives from government departments, the auto industry and law firms all exchanged their opinions on the role of the Guidelines, with an emphasis on issues such as block exemption in vertical monopoly contracts, resale price limitation, dual branding and the circulation of matching quality products. During the first part of the conference, Deputy Director General Lu gave an introduction to the background of the Guidelines, its current planning as well as its development path. Deputy Director Wu continued to explain that the NDRC had gone through and followed up all the 200 comments (collected by 12^th April) before this meeting. Considering the significance of this task, they are still willing to listen to more industry-specific comments.
