In the meeting, Ms. FU Helei and Ms. DU Yingrong introduced the general information of the European Chamber and the Pharmaceutical Working Group respectively. Ms. Du particularly introduced pharmaceucical companies' concerns on R&D investment, circulation costs, bidding processes, healthcare reform and anti-monopoly. DDG YANG Benqing and his colleagues welcomed the European Chamber delegation and introduced current medicine circulation and distribution system. Both parties exchanged views on current pilot healthcare reform program in Anhui Province, particularly on medicine circulation, tendering issue and market access issue. European Chamber delegation members further raised concerns and suggestions to DDG Yang regarding business and investment environment in Anhui. Both parties agreed on future cooperation.
