EU SME Annual Conference

The Conference gathered more than 40 Small-medium sized enterprise managers and experts from legal, IPR, HR, e-commerce to explore “How to Tackle a Changing China”. EU SME Centre Senior Policy Manager Mr. Xavier Sans Powell moderated the conference. He firstly welcomed Mr. Adam Dunnett, Secretary General and Chair of EU SME Centre Board to give the opening remarks. Following his speech, Mr. Bojan Pavlek, DG growth, European Commission shared his message with European and Chinese SMEs. The Conference also invited Mr. ZHOU Pingjun, Assistant DG of China Centre for Promotion of SME Development of MIIT. Mr. ZHOU updated progresses made by Chinese government. Later, European and Chinese SMEs executives shared their experiences in tackling with the challenges from a constantly changing China.After Coffee break, experts from various areas presented and offered solutions to key challenges that SMEs face in China.Closing remarks was held by Mr. Massimo Bagnasco, EU SME Centre Expert & State Representative of European Union Chamber of Commerce, at the end of conference.
