Seminar with Lily Yuan, researcher from ERI

On 17th October the energy WG held a seminar in Beijing. Giorgio Fortunato from Vestas, Lily Yuan from Energy Research Institute, NDRC, Ying Yuan from Greenpeace and Junda Lin from Pwc attended a panel discussion during the seminar.

Mr. Giorgio Fuotunato firstly gave a brief introduction of vestas and the development of wind power industry in China, followed by a panel discussion focusing on renewable energy. During the discussion, questions were asked about Chinese government's policy, cost for renewables, curtailment, flexibility of power structure and climate change when discussing the latest development in China's renewables.
