CFDA Vice Minister Jiao Hong meets Director-General of European Commission DG GROW

On the afternoon of October 27, 2016, Jiao Hong, Vice Minister of CFDA, met with the delegation led by Lowri Evans, Director-General of European Commission DG GROW (the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs). Both sides exchanged opinions on medical device and cosmetics laws and regulations of China and EU, and related cooperation fields.

After the meeting, the Department of International Cooperation of CFDA held a seminar on laws and regulations on medical device supervision. On the seminar, policy officer of DG GROW introduced the progress of the adjustment of EU laws and regulations on medical devices and in vitro diagnosis reagents. CFDA Vice Minister Jiao Hong attended the seminar. More than 60 people from relevant departments and affiliated organizations of CFDA attended the seminar. Nicole Denjoy, Secretary General of COCIR attended the seminar.
