Meeting with Vice Mayor of Beijing Municipal Government

Sara Marchetta, Vice President of the Chamber together with over 40 members attended a meeting with Cheng Hong, Vice Mayor of Beijing Municipal Government. At the joint meeting, Sara delivered a speech on the opening up of health care and science & technology in Beijing. Representatives from AmCham, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China, Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment also talked about the further opening up of six service sectors in Beijing. Officials from relevant departments of Beijing Municipal Government briefed on the latest development of their work respectively. Cheng Hong made the conclusion remarks, saying that the Beijing Municipal Government welcomes and appreciates the contribution made by FIEs to the economic development of Beijing, and would like to make more effort to deepen the reform of its service sectors, thus creating a more favorable investment environment for FIEs.
