Meeting with German Embassy on Cooperation in the Healthcare Industry

The Healthcare Equipment (HCE) Working Group of the Chamber hold a meeting with Mr Stefan Bernhart, Economic & Industry Counsellor with the German Embassy, on chances and challenges the Chinese healthcare reform poses for German companies. 

The HCE Working Group introduced the history and the tasks of the European Chamber, focussing on issues related to Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Products and Public Procurement.

The HCE Working Group briefed the embassy on the development of the trade in Medical Devices between China and Europe/Germany. 

The HCE Working Group welcomes the newly established China-Germany Government Dialogue on Regulatory Affairs and offers to contribute to the success of this dialogue. The Working Group recommends to establish a government dialogue on working level in order to achieve practical results beneficial for the Chinese-German trade.
