Meeting with Invest Shenzhen on Local Foreign Investment Policies

On Feb 13th, the government officials from Invest Shenzhen paid a visit to the European Chamber Shenzhen Office. The officials were met by the Chamber’s South China Board Member Klaus Zenkel, South China General Manager Francine Hadjisotiriou, and Business and Government Affairs Manager Angel Zhang to discuss the State Council's Notice Concerning Several Measures for Expanding Opening-Up and Actively Utilizing Foreign Capital.

 The Notice gave grants local government the power to tailor its own policy towards utilizing foreign investment, and Invest Shenzhen is currently collecting inputs and feedbacks from local foreign companies on behalf of Shenzhen government. Further cooperation and exchanges between European Chamber and Invest Shenzhen are going to take place later this year.
