Meeting with Hangzhou Market Supervision Bureau on Professional Consumer Issues

Members of the Agriculture, Food & Beverage, Cosmetics and Fashion & Leather Working Groups visited the Hangzhou Market Supervision Bureau and raised concerns over professional consumer issues to the relevant deparment officials. As the professional consumer cases are mostly profit-driven, it has posed a negative impact on business operaion and wasted a lot of administrative resources. Mr. Feng Shilian, Deputy Director General of the Hangzhou Market Supervision Bureau, emphasized the importance for the foreign companies to comply with the Chinese standards and to solve disputes through legal procedures. At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen communication in the future.
