Meeting with Vice Chairman Zhaoxing Wang, CBRC

President of the Chamber led a delegation and met with Vice Chairman Wang Zhaoxing of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, CBRC.

President Wuttke briefed Vice Chairman Wang of the latest development of the Chamber and major publications including the latest report on China Manufacturing 2025. He commented on China’s opening up and the importance of market force in this process. Representatives from Banking and Securities Working Group, Consumer Finance & NBFI Working Group and CEO of Volkswagen Finance (China) Co., Ltd. voiced their concerns and recommendations of their industry. Vice Chairman Wang welcomed the delegation from the Chamber and responded to the comments made by the industry representatives. He provided some suggestions to foreign financial institutions to expand their market shares, he also said that the CBRC will work with the PBoC on relevant issues. The meeting was concluded with the Position Paper 2016/2017 presentation to Vice Chairman Wang.
