Comments on Technical Requirement for GPS Vehicle Terminal (Draft of Revision)

On March 8^th, the Ministry of Transport (MOT) issued a Call-for-Comments on Technical Requirement for GPS Vehicle Terminal (Draft of Revision). This regulation aims to strengthen the management of transport vehicles,  improve the dynamic supervision, and reduce the potential risk of road traffic accidents.  The European Chamber Automotive Working Group, on behalf of member companies, submitted to MOT their consolidated comments. Based on the current internet situation in China, the working group proposed two technical methods to circumvent internet security problems (directly and indirectly connection) and presented a comparison analysis for policy makers.
