Meeting with Foreign Trade Association (FTA) China Representative

Ms Joyce Chau, the Representative Greater China of Foreign Trade Association (FTA), visited European Chamber on 28^th March and met with chamber’s senior management team. Joyce explained FTA’s advocacy focus on “Free but Sustainable Trade” and introduced the two major initiatives The Business Social Compliance Initiative(BSCI) and The Business Environmental Performance Initiative (BEPI) for which FTA’s is currently advocating in China. In exchange, Adam made a general introduction of European chamber and its service, and explained the role EUCCC plays in supporting the negotiation for the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI). Both parties expressed interest in further exploring cooperation possibility in the future.
