Meeting with CCUD under NDRC on New Type of Smart City and Prospects of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integration

Ms Zheng Mingmei, Associate Research Fellow Director of Division of Smart and Low-carbon City Affairs of China Center for Urban Development, and Secretary General of Smart City Development Alliance of the National Development and Reform Commission, was invited to address the development of new type of smart city and prospects on the collaborative development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province as well as the Xiong An New District.

Chamber's Executive Committee Member and National Vice Chair of Construction Working Group, Mr Massimo Bagnasco, made the opening remarks on the significance of developing smart city and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration.  He further passed the floor to Ms Zheng.

Ms Zheng shared her persectives on the background, top-level design and promotion plan of new type of smart cities in China with abundant figures and data, followed by brief introduction on the Smart City Development Alliance.  She further provided insights on the background, advantages, influence and implementation updates of Xiong An New District.  Ms Zheng concluded her speech by inviting the Chamber to be partner in the Annual International Urbanisation Forum and welcoming the European companies to invest in the Xiong An New District.
