Comments to SCAB on the Cryptography Law (Draft for Comments)

The European Chamber submitted collated comments to the SCAB on the Cryptography Law. The comments underlined the following aspects:

1. The lack of definition for important concepts leading to the lack of legal enforceability
2. The emphasis on mandatory standards and approval procedures and the extra restrictions the Law pose to foreign enterprises
3. International participation in the construction of cryptographic standard system
