EU-China IP Working Group Meeting: Industry input session

The EU-China IP Working Group Meeting welcomed European Chamber to present the industry inputs from European business, and raised a number of piority issues. A few representatives of member companies attended, including the IPR Working Group Chair. At the meeting, the IPR Working Group raised a number of priority issues including: 

-Unintended consequences due to SAFE provisions to manage foreign currency outflows from China
-Well-known trademarks recognition
-Draft e-Commerce Law: duty of care of the e-commerce platforms

This meeting contributed significantly to the EU-China IP dialogue as almost all of the IPR Working Group's inputs were raised at the subsequent bilateral EU-China Working Group meeting taking place the following day.
