EU-China Partnership for Clean Energy

2017-05-16 | Beijing

In the context of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and of a renewed interest of polluting countries to transition to a cleaner and greener economy, the European Chamber organized the EU-China Partnership for Clean Energy Transition to discuss ways and opportunities to enhance the development of clean energy.

While the EU and China will use the upcoming EU-China Business Summit to restart and give a new momentum to the EU-China energy dialogue, the business community will try to deepen the reforms and favor a bottom-up approach to promote the use of clean energy. In this respect, both European and Chinese players intend to strengthen their cooperation, exchanging synergies and best practices to create awareness within the Chinese society to pursue a greener economy.
