Meeting with Guangzhou Municipal Board for International Investment

On May 15th  Mr. George Lau, Chair of the SC Board of the European Chamber and Ms. Anna Rudawska, Deputy Manager met with Mr. Leon Li李峰, Deputy Director 副主任 of Invest Guangzhou广州国际投资促进中心.

Invest Guangzhou invited Chair of the South China Chapter Board Mr. George Lau to join the panel of International Advisors of Guangzhou Government on behalf of the European Chamber. Mr George Lau accepted the invitation and will join the upcoming International Advisor Conference on March 28th and present together with other Advisors of Guangzhou Government.

Invest Guangzhou informed the European Chamber about establishment of Association of One Belt One Road Enterprises of Guangzhou. Currently the Association has 42 members Chinese companies and will be open to foreign companies in the future. The objective of the Association is to provide companies with more connection and investment opportunities in countries involved in the BRI.

Invest Guangzhou and the European Chamber, South China Chapter will continue to communicate on a regular basis regarding new policies and initiatives as well as work together on improving the local business environment for European companies operating in Guangzhou.
