The Second Lobby Letter to General Administration of Customs on Clearance System Maintenance

As a follow up action, the Logistics Working Group submitted the second lobby letter to the General Administration of Customs with regards to frequent customs clearance system upgrade and the impacts it brings to the normal operation of the express delivery industry.  The letter included more than 20 detailed corporate records regarding when and how the frequent system upgrade interfered the operation. In the letter, the working group jointly appealed that GAC should set up a procedure to give advance notification for various system maintenance and recommended local customs to initiate manual interventions for emergency plans in a timely manner.
