Meeting with Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security

During the meeting, officials working in relative functional departments from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security introduced risks in relation to foreign investment and put forward specific advice on legal risk prevention.

The discussion focused on labour relationship, social assurance and foreign employee management. Officers clearly illustrated certain risks in an extensively-open Chinese market, shedding light on key terms of the employment contract from which labour disputes often arise, work-related injury/death and occupational disease, and issues on layoffs, relocation, share transfer or liquidation projects. This seminar also paid attention to labour relationship management of foreign employers, social insurance of foreign employers, and working visa related issues. Mr. Zhang, vice director of Jiangsu Phoenix Vocation Education Books Co. Ltd, shared his knowledge about how to develop high-level cooperation between companies and colleges.
