The Logistics Working Group submitted a lobby letter to the General Administration of Customs (GAC) Department of Supervision with regards to the issues of goods circulation caused by customs transit system change. The letter points out that the customs transit system change has interrupted the normal process of customs declaration, which leads to goods congestion at the local ports. In the letter, the working group jointly appealed that GAC should grant a grace period for enterprises to make adjustments to the new system and the government should also test the new system first and fix all the technical gaps at the local level before using the system nationwide.
