European Chamber President Delivers Speech to Roundtable with French Enterprises in China Hosted by Vice Premier Hu Chunhua

The European Chamber was invited to participate in a roundtable with French enterprises operating in China, hosted by Vice Premier Hu Chunhua and organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) on 21st November. At the roundtable, Chamber President Mats Harborn delivered a speech on ways in which regulation can be optimised to broaden and deepen China’s economy.
During the subsequent frank and open dialogue that took place, Vice Premier Hu recognised the issues raised by attendees, and reiterated China’s commitment to reform and opening up, and creating a level playing field for businesses operating in China. Vice Premier Hu also made special mention of the quality of the European Chamber’s working groups and position papers.
