Meeting with the British Embassy, Trade & Investment Department: top ten recommendations

On the January 26th 2010, the European Chamber led by Vice President Lyn Kok met the Trade & Investment Department of the British Embassy and the UK Trade & Investment to share and present our views on the top ten recommendations for 2010. The European Chamber gave its feedbacks on the current business sentiment about and mood in China. Moreover, the counterpart was also interested to hear the European Chamber’s comments on the support they receive from Embassies and the EU Commission as well. The two parties also discussed openly their top ten priorities in terms of lobbying for the coming year. The British Embassy gave an update of the latest news they have from different sectors, e.g. Pharmaceuticals. The meeting concluded with both parties to continue to have frequent communication.
