Chamber Representatives Met with Yantai Officials to Start the Shandong Initiative

On 28th March, Massimo Bagnasco, vice president of the European Chamber, and Adam Dunnett, Secretary General of the European Chamber, visited Yantai to start the Shandong Initiative.
Mr. Massimo Bagnasco presented the European Business in China Position Paper 2018/2019 to Ms Zhu Xiuxiang, chairman of Yantai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), followed by an open discussion on the future development of the Shandong Initiative.
Together with Mr Xia Bin, vice director of Yantai Investment Development Center, and Mr Michel Humbert, senior adviser of Yantai Investment Development Center, Mr Massimo Bagnasco and Mr Adam Dunnett also had a short meeting with the founding members of the Shandong Initiative and listened to their suggestions on how to further improve the local business environment with joint efforts of the Yantai government and the Chamber.
