Chamber IPR Working Group Chair Presents at Intellectual Property Protection and International Business Environment Optimization Forum 2019

The Intellectual Property Protection and International Business Environment Optimization Forum 2019 was hosted by the Xuanwu District Committee of Nanjing Municipality and the Xuanwu District People's Government of Nanjing. It closely followed the theme for the National Intellectual Property Protection Week of building a first-class business environment with strict intellectual property protection. The forum invited relevant leaders from provinces and cities, domestic and foreign experts, intellectual property service agencies, well-known enterprises, legal professionals, and scientific and representatives from the technology industry. Guest speakers at the meeting discussed, researched and shared new breakthroughs and developments in intellectual property protection, and provided new ideas, methods, and concepts for improving the local international business environment.

Ms. Lin Xu’s speech focused on the European intellectual property protection system and introduced the latest developments in the European patent, trademark and copyright system, detailing the impact of European unified patent system, the EU trademark system reform, and the Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market on European intellectual property protection and the business environment.
