On 22nd March, The PCR Working Group joined the EU Delegation to participate the 4th meeting of the EU-China Chemical WG. It was co-chaired by Mr. Klaus Berend, HoU of DG Enterprise and Industry and Mr. Hao Yilei, Deputy Director of Chemical Division of Supervision on Inspection Department, AQSIQ.Participants of this meeting included representatives from DG Enterprise and Industry, EU Delegation to China, EUCCC, AQSIQ, Ministry of Environment Protection (MEP), Chemical Registration Center of MEP, The two sides have conducted broad discussion which covered China’s new Measures for Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances, implementation of GHS in both EU and China, China’s regulation on the import of toxic chemical products, the EU Pyrotechnic Articles Directive, and REACH.
