Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation Visits the Chamber in Beijing

On 13th June, Chen Guanghao, director general (DG) of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation visited the Chamber’s Beijing office to to strengthen cooperation with the Chamber’s headquarters and discuss the latest developments in Sichuan with Chamber representatives. Chen Lijun, DDG, and Jennie Huang, chief of Economic Cooperation Division V, and Chen Dong, chief of Economic Cooperation Division IV, also attended the meeting.

DG Chen said the Sichuan Business Development Conference 2019 will be held on 25th to 27th June, and will be coordinated by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation. The theme will be ‘Gathering Sichuan-related Entrepreneurs to Embrace New Business Opportunities in Sichuan.’ DG Chen added that registration is still open to all European Chamber members.

Carl Hayward, general manager, Beijing Chapter, briefed the delegation on key findings of the Chamber’s Business Confidence Survey 2019 and presented the report to DG Chen.
