Meeting with Special Commissioner of Ministry of Commerce

On 27 June, Chamber representatives met with the Special Commissioner of Ministry of Commerce Mr. Jiang Shizhu and discussed potential impact on European businesses from US-China trade dispute and the current business environment. 

Two pharmaceutical industry representatives from B. Braun Melsungen AG expressed their wish in increasing communication with relevant government department and more transparent legislation. The National Vice Chair of Auto Component Working Group Mr. Felix Koo urged for more IP protection and anti-monopoly regulation on the aftermarket of automotive sales. The National Vice Chair of Environment Working Group Mr. Peter Corne mentioned the opportunity for China to open up for the investment in SMEs in green energy and sustainable development.
