On 22 October, the European Chamber's Energy, Environment and Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Refining groups submitted comments to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on Management Regulations on Assessing the Environmental Impact Caused by Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry (Draft for Comments) 《关于进一步加强石油天然气行业环境影响评价管理的通知（征求意见稿）》

The working groups made several suggestions related to water injection, including the introduction of pollution control standards and administrative measures to boost oil and gas enterprises' role in water injection research and development.
