Meeting with Beijing Development and Reform Commission on Rules of Optimization of Business Environment in Beijing

Beijing has launched the formulation of regulations regarding Optimization of Business Environment in Beijing. On 14th November, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Centre and Beijing Development and Reform Commission jointly hold a seminar jointly on rules of Optimization of Business Environment in Beijing, in order to fully understand the difficulties of market entities and listen to the suggestions of various associations and chambers of commerce.
The public consultation on the draft of rules of on Optimization of Business Environment in Beijing will be initiated at the end of 2019 or early January of 2020.
As the cooperative lawyer to Legislative Department, National Development and Reform Commission, Mr Zhang Jiachun stated that:
All legislative work in relevance to business environment would be revised and improved. The regulation for Beijing shall be internationally competitive and be able to connect the economic development of China. Local legislative department can now apply for the first trial, in order to get better opportunities for local development.
The concerns stated by the European Chamber are as follows:
- Regulations for Bidding and Procurement.
- Law Enforcement.
- Communication between the government and enterprises and the process for appeals.
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) Rights Protection.
- Evaluation of business environment.
- Talent attraction.
